The John Murray Archive- National Library of Scotland

Time scale: 2005- 2006

Size: 1000m²

My Role: Design lead and Creative direction

Project Overview: The John Murray Archive records the lives and ideas of some of the greatest writers and thinkers of the 18th to 20th centuries, including Byron, Darwin and Livingstone. Our design for the archive tackled the challenge of making 2D material accessible. We created a truly visitor-focused experience that centred on a series of entry points into the subject matter which helped guide visitors through the manuscripts.
